Exercise can look different ways to different people, and may include a formalized gym program, outdoor recreation, group classes or a combination.

Mindful Movement

Mindful Movement practices can be used to support health on a deeper layer, supporting the integration of physical, mental-emotional and spiritual health. This style of movement can be used to support nervous system health, stress management, and overall wellness.

Kinesiology

Kinesiology refers to the scientific study of human movement and looks at many components of movement including anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, and psychological motivation. Through the application of these areas of focus, I support you in the assessment of injuries and painful conditions, movement patterns leading to muscular imbalances, and injury prevention techniques through strength and conditioning.

Yoga

Yoga joins breath and movement as a way to support the nervous system, muscular health, and peace of mind. There are different styles of yoga ranging from more vigorous, flow styles to slow restorative styles, all with different benefits. Yoga uses gentle stretching and rehabilitative exercises to help you to relax, decrease stress and take time out of the day to heal. It helps to focus the mind, increase awareness of breathing, as well as provide alleviation of pain and discomfort in the body.
