YOUR STRESS BLUEPRINT IS THE

CURRENT BLUEPRINT

You’re the adaptive one. Intuitive, creative, sensitive, emotionally deep. You pick up on subtle shifts. You feel things fully. You often sense what’s going on beneath the surface, and that depth is one of your greatest strengths.

And that’s how you thrive…when you have space to process, when your inner world is supported, and when your life has enough steadiness that your sensitivity feels like a gift, not a burden.

But sometimes your pattern is to take in too much. To feel flooded by emotions. To get stuck in what ifs. When stress is high, Current energy can tip into overwhelm, fear, scattered energy, and a kind of frozen indecision where it’s hard to know what to do next. You might retreat or avoid, not because you don’t care, but because your system is overloaded.

Your next move: ground the system, create gentle structure, and build a foundation that helps you feel safe enough to come back into flow.

What Your Results Say About You

You’re a Current, which means you’re naturally intuitive, emotionally aware, and adaptive.
You often carry depth, creativity, and sensitivity that allows you to feel and understand more than most.

And because you can keep functioning, it’s easy to go beyond the moment when your system is carrying more than it has capacity for.

Here’s what’s going on beneath the surface.

You could be feeling everything… until your system freezes.

Stress for Current blueprints often looks like emotional flooding, getting paralyzed by what ifs, and a nervous system that retreats when it feels too much.

Currents are incredible at adapting, but when life demands more than your system can process, the nervous system can shift into avoidance or freeze. It’s not weakness. It’s protection.

Over time, that can show up as:

  • feeling overwhelmed or emotionally flooded
  • scattered thoughts and difficulty making decisions
  • fear spirals, what if thinking, and overthinking outcomes
  • avoidance, retreating, or isolating even when you want connection
  • a sense of being stuck, frozen, or shut down

Often this isn’t an issue with your discipline. It’s an issue with nervous system capacity. Too many inputs, and not enough containment.

Learning how to build micro-moments of grounding and clear boundaries becomes essential so your sensitivity can feel supportive instead of overwhelming.

Your mind tries to balance through what ifs

Currents often run future oriented fear loops when stressed. The what ifs can start stacking quickly, and the more you think, the less settled you feel.

That can look like imagining worst-case scenarios, struggling to decide, replaying what could go wrong, and feeling mentally scattered or uncertain.

Your system is trying to keep you safe by preparing for every possibility.

But we want to find a way to support the downshifting, so that you aren’t scanning all the time. Having more tools to calm the body first will allow the mind to follow, returning you to a greater state of balance.

Stress can hit your ability to connect

For Current blueprints, stress can show up as freezing. YOu feel flooded, overwhelmed, and the way out feels like retreating. That can mean cutting off friends and loved ones.

This is a nervous system pattern. You get overwhelmed and you attempt to shut down more inputs.

Learning calming breathwork, grounding rituals, and restorative rest can help your nervous system feel safe to connect without the overload.

Watch for these warning signs

Currents rarely “crash” out of nowhere. It’s usually a slow build, then a tipping point.

Here are a few signs you might be edging toward that overwhelmed and frozen place, where your system starts pushing back because it has been carrying too much for too long:

You feel emotionally flooded more easily. Small things feel big, and you can’t find your footing.

You’re stuck in what if thinking. Your mind keeps scanning for possible outcomes and it feels hard to decide.

You retreat or avoid. You cancel plans, withdraw, or numb out because everything feels like too much.

You feel tired but wired at night. You’re exhausted, but your body won’t settle into sleep.

Your sleep is vivid or disrupted. Night sweats, nightmares, frequent waking, or waking up feeling unrested.

You feel scattered and ungrounded. It’s harder to focus, and you feel like you’re floating rather than rooted.

If you see yourself in any of these, take it as information, not failure.

It’s a sign your system needs more grounding, more boundaries, and more foundations.

Current types need gentle structure and grounding support to stop the emotional spiral and help your system feel ok to come back into flow.

Here’s your step-by-step plan

1) Listen to your Health Essentials playlist

You’ll get the biggest results if you listen once, then repeat the one that hits the hardest.

2) Pick one Anchor-friendly action for today

Choose one:

  • 2 minutes of grounding, one hand on chest, one hand on belly, slow inhale, long exhale
  • a clear boundary, one small no that protects your capacity today
  • 10 minutes of gentle movement or a slow walk to help you land back in your body
  • a calming breathwork practice before bed, longer exhale than inhale

One of my favourite ways to support Current energy is a restorative yoga practice. You’ll be amazed at how quickly your system can soften when your body is supported. Access it HERE.

About Me

Hi, I’m Rachel.

I’m an Integrative Health Coach with a background in exercise science, health behaviour change and eastern medicine and acupuncture. My goal is to support busy women to rebalance their nervous system and hormones without giving up on your goals and ambitions. I blend western physiology with Traditional Chinese Medicine because in real life, women need both: a clear explanation for what’s happening, and tools that actually help.

My work blends western physiology with Traditional Chinese Medicine because women deserve a framework that makes sense on multiple levels. We look at what’s happening with stress hormones, blood sugar, sleep, digestion, and inflammation, and we also pay attention to patterns like energy, cycles, and the way your system responds to pressure over time. The goal is clarity and relief, not more confusion. You leave with practical and personalized tools you can actually use, even in a full and busy life.

I also come back, again and again, to the Health Essentials. The foundations. Movement, nourishment, stress resilience, sleep, and connection and alignment. Because quick fixes, fads, and trends might create a short-term spark, but they rarely create lasting change if your base is shaky. You don’t need a new protocol every week. You need consistent support that helps your nervous system feel balanced and your hormones stay supported.

I created the Stress Blueprint framework because I kept seeing the same thing. Two women can have the same symptoms and need completely different support. One person needs more movement and structure to feel steady. Another needs more rest and containment to come back into balance. Stress is not one-size-fits-all, and nervous system regulation isn’t either. Your blueprint gives us a starting point that’s personal, compassionate, and specific, so you can stop guessing and start supporting your body in a way that fits.

When I’m not helping people feel more at ease in their bodies, you can find me playing with my puppy, walking on the beach, and growing dahlias in my garden.

I’m a constant learner and always seeking to grow personally and professionally.

A few of my favourite things are starting kitchen dance parties, watching Grey’s Anatomy, and drinking smoothies laced with coffee.

I love living on Vancouver Island but my favourite place on earth is Osoyoos, BC. The feeling of summer in a lakeside small town brings me so much joy.

And of course, I love supporting women to understand their bodies.
